2009年12月31日（木）: I counted down the end of 2009 at the New Year’s World Rock Festival in 銀座 (Ginza), made some new friends, and spent maybe an hour collectively chatting with the members of ALSDEAD. This year is spilling over with hope and dreams to be fulfilled. Happy 2010.

2009年12月30日（水）: After three live shows in a row, this acetaminophen will be my best friend. I just got home from the second one and my neck is already killing me. The first of the new year should be tons of fun.

2009年12月27日（日）: This one’s for Diana. It’s a PUG! I know it’s a crappy picture, but I didn’t want to get too close for fear that the owner would walk out of the super market at any moment and be disconcerted by the strange foreigner who had rode up on her bike in the dark to take a picture of their dog.

2009年12月25日（金）: メリクリ! Merry Xmas! I received (from left to right) a pick from the band Somatic Guardian (actually, I caught it at the show that was on the 18th), a pick from Ha;qch (it landed in my bra, of all places, and I’m not wearing a low-cut shirt, so it was pretty miraculous), a pick from Navir, and a bag of candies from Rubik (…I think it was Rubik, at least).

2009年12月24日（木）: This is my Xmas present to myself. I’ve been wanting this blanket since I arrived, and I finally decided to buy it. It’s the softest blankie in the world.

2009年12月19日（土）: A screen shot from the movie 回路 (Kairo/Pulse). I watched both this and the American remake for Japanese cinema class. Both were good for different reasons, and after watching one after the other, I have a new understanding for the necessity of remaking movies for audiences of different cultures.

2009年12月03日（木）: I’m sure you can tell I’ve had a thrilling past few days… Anyway, this is my bento box. I bought it in order to avoid having to purchase lunch every day. At present it contains some brown rice and potato oyaki. Tomorrow morning, I intend to get up a bit earlier than usual to steam some broccoli and make 卵焼き (Japanese-style mini-omelet) to add in as well.
